The collection contains material relating to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Campaign of November 1994. Alan Kania (D) ran against the incumbent Steve Zotos (R). Zotos won, but Kania raised some important issues. Most of the collection is composed of newspaper articles and statistics gathered by Kania, as well as press releases and other ephemera of a political campaign.
